This is what I hear from my daughter when she has forgotten a friend’s birthday. We allow her to shop online because it works for everyone. I am not stuck trying to squeeze in a trip to the mall and she can find just about anything she wants at a great price. With her propensity for last-minute shopping, I can look forward to hearing this response a lot more during the upcoming holiday season.
If you are hearing this at your house, it is time to talk to your kids about how to shop smart online. Shopping online is a great place to find deals, but if you are not careful it can also be a great place to find a virus or have your identity stolen. My article “Don’t worry Mom, I will just go online” on JustAskGemalto has lots of great tips for kids on how to stay safe and secure while shopping online.
